How can I access my account from home?
  • You can access your account from home from our online catalog  In the login box:

  • Make sure your library is Montfort

  • Type in the 14 digit number from the back of the card (no spaces)

  • Type in your password

  • Submit

What can I do with my account?
  • Request items

  • Renew items

  • Check status of items

  • See items you have checked out and their due dates

  • See if you have any fines

  • Check contact information

How do I renew my items?

 
  • Log into your account

  • Select "items out"

  • Select "renew item" next to items you wish to renew

  • Your new due dates will be listed for all of the items you were able to renew

How do I get a library card? Application
  • Library cards are free to residents of Montfort and Wisconsin

  • To sign up for a library card you will need:

  • A government-issued photo ID card with your current address OR

  • A government-issued photo ID card and proof of your current address, ie. a bill, piece of mail or lease.

  • Youth under the age of 16 will need to have a parent or guardian sign their application and agree to be responsible for materials the child checks out

  • If you already have a library card from another SWLS member library, you can use that card at the Montfort Public Library. The Southwest Wisconsin Library System includes  public libraries in Crawford, Grant, Iowa, Lafayette and Richland counties of Wisconsin
